Remote Learning
Remote Learning Statement for Allenton Community Primary School
At Allenton Community Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every pupil has the opportunity to continue their learning remotely if necessary. To support this, each pupil is provided with a 1:1 iPad, which is used in school and could be made available for use at home. This would ensure full access to both the school curriculum and the national curriculum, allowing for uninterrupted learning.
Our teaching staff will set tasks and activities using various educational apps tailored to meet the needs of each child. Learning will be shared through Showbie, where pupils can access assignments, submit work, and receive feedback. We will also maintain strong communication with parents and carers through Class Dojo, keeping you updated on your child's progress and any important information.
In addition to these resources, we would explore opportunities for pupils to participate in live lessons where appropriate, ensuring an interactive learning experience when needed.
Our goal would be to provide a seamless transition between in-school and remote learning, ensuring that all pupils continue to thrive regardless of the circumstances
