Vision for Science at Allenton Community Primary School

At Allenton Community Primary School, our vision is to ensure all pupils develop scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding through the disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics. Science teaching will develop pupils’ natural curiosity and will develop skills associated with the process of enquiry. We ensure our pupils understand science so they are aware of the implications of science today and in the future. The school’s approach to science takes account of the school’s own context by providing opportunities for educational experiences and visits, in a variety of settings.
