About our School

We are located in the heart of the Allenton community and are proud to serve the families of the local area.  Our vision is for all children to achieve their potential and work hard both academically and more widely.  We aim to develop our children so they are ready for their next stage of education and be able to contribute to wider society.

We are proud to be rated as a GOOD school by Ofsted and they had this to say about our school:

'The school’s principle of promoting life skills is at the heart of the curriculum. Pupils develop resilience, resourcefulness and reflectiveness. They learn how to work together well.'

'Pupils have positive attitudes to learning. This is especially true where teaching is most effective. They take pride in the presentation of their books.'

We have also achieved Gold status from the Anti-Bullying alliance and the Silver award for being a mentally healthy school.

To find out information about specific classes and year groups, why not take a look at our year group pages here:

The focus of our curriculum is to ensure that children receive the full entitlement of the National Curriculum.  We do, however, focus on the Humanities (Science, History and Geography) for our topics to support children's understanding of the where, when and how of the world around them.  For full information about our curriculum take a look here:
