Allenton Community Primary School has been in partnership with Transform Trust since January 2015, starting out as the only Derby-based primary school and over time becoming an active member of the Trust Derby Partnership along with other local schools.
Transform Trust is a multi-academy trust which serves Nottingham, Derby, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The Trust values of Respect, Kindness, Equity and Creativity are aligned with our own, however, we also have autonomy over our vision, school-based values and curriculum to ensure that our school reflects the Allenton community.
Our children are encouraged to engage with the Trust in a number of different ways through enrichment activities such as Trust-wide sporting events, performing arts festivals and the annual Children’s Awards. They also benefit from the wealth of professional development opportunities for the staff through Transform Applied which can be found here https://www.transformapplied.co.uk/.
All staff access a wide range of CPD, which includes training for Teaching and Learning, Leadership and Governance, in addition to the guidance and support provided through being part of a larger family of schools such as HR, finance and organisational management.
