Welcome to Year 5!

Hello and welcome to Year 5.  The teacher for Kingfishers class is Miss McNiven and the teacher for Sandpipers is Mrs Rose.

School times: We start school at 8.50am and finish at 3.20pm Monday to Friday. 

Dinners: Your child is welcome to have a school meal (choice of a hot meal or sandwiches) or they can bring their own sandwiches from home. Meals cost £2.50.  If you believe that you are entitled to free school meals please speak to the office. You can find our latest menus under the tab 'Information for Parents' - 'Lunch Menu'. 

PE: In Year 5 class we have PE on a Monday & Thursday. On these days, children should come to school in their PE kit and make sure they are dressed suitably for colder weather! All jewellery (including ear rings) must be removed before PE (preferably before school starts). This is for health and safety.  If for any reason your child cannot remove their ear rings, they will need to be covered by tape or plasters.
