Foundation

Welcome to Foundation Stage!

Hello and welcome to Seahorses class, where every child begins their exciting journey through school in a happy, nurturing and stimulating environment. Seahorses class teachers are Mrs Thomas and Mrs Lumsden who are supported by Miss Richardson.

At our school, we believe that every child is unique. We provide a safe, caring and engaging classroom where children are encouraged to become confident, independent learners through play, exploration and purposeful teaching. Our aim is to inspire a lifelong love of learning whilst ensuring every child feels valued, supported and celebrated.

Our School Day

Doors Open: 8:45am
School Day Ends: 3:20pm

Our daily routine provides children with a balance of adult-led learning, child-initiated play, outdoor exploration and opportunities to develop independence and confidence.

Dinners: Your child will receive a Universal Infant free school meal. You can find our menu on tab 'Information for Parents' - 'Lunch Menu'.

PE: In Seahorses class we have PE every Friday. On this day please come to school in your PE kit and make sure you dress suitably for colder weather!
